Loretto · ON · Service area

Metal roofing in Loretto.

Loretto is a small rural community in Adjala–Tosorontio, and we have more than 4 documented installations in and around it. That is a modest number stated plainly rather than dressed up: it means we have worked here, repeatedly, over years — not that we are the biggest roofer in the township. The properties here are mostly rural residential and farm, on open ground, which makes wind and exposure the conditions that decide how a roof ages.

Built for Loretto's climate

Engineered for what Loretto throws at it.

Wind

Open, elevated country with little shelter. Our panels are independently certified to 241 km/h, and the rating does its work at the edges, ridge and rakes — the perimeter details where wind actually starts taking a roof apart.

Snow, ice & freeze-thaw

A full Simcoe winter with repeated freeze-thaw cycling. That cycling, rather than any single storm, is what works fasteners loose and lifts asphalt tabs over the years.

Fire

Steel is non-combustible by its very nature — a Class A fire rating, the highest available.

Our work in Loretto

More than 4 roofs, on the record.

That figure comes from Colum’s own job records rather than an estimate, and it is a minimum — it counts only the paper contracts scanned so far.

Small community, long relationship

Four documented roofs in a community this size is not a volume story, it is a repeat-and-referral one. Work in rural Adjala–Tosorontio arrives the same way it does in Everett a few minutes up the road: someone sees a roof go on, watches how the property is left, and calls. Across the township as a whole we can document more than 19 installations. We would rather give you that number honestly, with its limits, than claim to be the area’s busiest roofer and hope you do not check.

What we do and what we will turn down

Our work here is full roof replacement, in steel, on residential and farm buildings. We are installers rather than a repair service, and out in the township that distinction matters: if what you need is a section patched or a single flashing fixed, a contractor closer to you will do it faster and for less, and we will tell you that instead of writing a quote we would rather you did not accept. Where we are the right fit is the roof you intend to be the last one.

Common questions

What Loretto homeowners ask first.

Have you actually worked in Loretto?
Yes — more than 4 documented installations in and around the community, from our own job records. It is a minimum rather than a total: only about a third of the paper archive has been scanned so far. Across Adjala–Tosorontio as a whole the documented figure is more than 19.
Do you handle farm buildings as well as houses?
Yes. Outbuildings are usually an Ameri-Cana corrugated question where the house is a premium-profile one, and Colum will price them separately so you can decide whether to do both at once or stage them.
Can you go over my existing shingles?
Often — a layover goes over sound existing shingles and avoids a full tear-off. Whether it is appropriate depends on the condition underneath and how many layers are already there, which is a judgement made on the roof rather than over the phone.
How long does asphalt last out here?
13–17 years in this climate. That range comes from Colum’s own decade of surveying the roofs he tore off, not from a manufacturer’s stated warranty term. Exposure and freeze-thaw cycling are hard on asphalt, and open rural ground gives it no help at all.
