Heritage Series

Continuous standing-seam panels with concealed fasteners — the architectural choice.

Heritage Series standing seam metal roof panels in Midnight Black
What it is

The Heritage story.

Heritage Series is the architectural standing-seam panel for homeowners who want the cleanest possible roof line. Continuous panels run unbroken from ridge to eave, concealed fasteners eliminate exposed-screw failure points, and the 24-gauge Canadian steel substrate combined with PVDF Kynar 500 coating delivers a 50-year transferable warranty. This is the profile that appears on modern lakefront builds, restored century homes, and the architectural projects where the roof is part of the design language.

Common questions

What homeowners ask about heritage.

How is Heritage different from Wakefield Bridge?
Two different profiles, same coating quality. Wakefield Bridge is a steel shingle that looks like a traditional roof tile — patterned, textured, residential. Heritage Series is a standing-seam panel that runs continuously from ridge to eave — cleaner, more architectural, more modern. Same 50-year transferable warranty on both.
What is the minimum roof pitch for Heritage Series?
Heritage Series is rated down to 3:12 pitch (about 14° slope). For anything flatter than that you’d move to a mechanical-lock standing seam or a different system entirely. Most residential roofs are 6:12 or steeper, which is well within Heritage’s comfort zone.
Does it expand and contract with temperature?
Yes — all metal roofs do. Heritage Series handles this with a floating clip system: the panel clips slide along their tracks as steel expands in summer heat and contracts in winter cold. You won’t see oil-canning or buckling when installed correctly.
Can you do a curved or radius roof in Heritage Series?
Tapered or curved standing seam is a specialty install — we don’t routinely take those on. For a straight-run residential application, Heritage Series is a great fit. For curved architectural work, ask us during the on-site visit and we’ll be honest about whether we’re the right crew.
