Classic corrugated profile — the look of a barn or country home, in a panel that lasts forty years.

Ameri-Cana corrugated steel roofing installed on a country home
What it is

The Ameri-Cana story.

Ameri-Cana is the corrugated steel panel for homeowners who want the classic rural-Ontario look without sacrificing modern performance. The ribbed profile is what you see on heritage barns, century farmhouses, and the country properties where steel was always the right answer. Coated with Perspectra Plus (or WeatherXL on certain colours) and stamped from 29-gauge Canadian steel, Ameri-Cana carries a 40-year transferable warranty and installs faster than virtually any other roofing material — which keeps labour costs accessible.

Common questions

What homeowners ask about ameri-cana.

How does Ameri-Cana compare to Wakefield Bridge?
Different positioning. Wakefield Bridge is our premium steel shingle (PVDF Kynar coating, 50-year warranty, interlocking concealed-fastener profile). Ameri-Cana is a classic corrugated panel with an exposed-fastener system, a 40-year warranty, and a more accessible price. Both are great metal roofs; they’re for different homes and budgets.
Are exposed fasteners a problem?
Not when installed correctly. Ameri-Cana uses EPDM-washer screws engineered to last the full 40-year warranty term. The fasteners go through the ribs (not the flat valleys) to keep them out of the primary water path. With proper installation, exposed-fastener corrugated lasts decades without issue. Standing seam (Heritage) eliminates this consideration entirely, which is one reason it costs more.
Will it work on my house, or is it just for barns?
It works on both. Ameri-Cana looks great on country homes, farmhouses, cottages, and any property where the rural-Ontario aesthetic fits. We install it on residential homes regularly. If your neighbourhood is more architectural / modern, Heritage or Wakefield will read better.
How long does installation take?
Ameri-Cana installs faster than most metal roofs because of the 36″ panel coverage and the simpler fastening system. A typical residential roof is 3-5 working days depending on size and complexity. We’ll give you a firm timeline at the on-site quote.
